Fire, Flowers, And Falling Stars

The will to live requires the acceptance to die

So in searching for some sort of unremarkable purpose

In that, I’m attempting to let purpose look for me

And finding only the absurd in life’s mundanity

I kindle and excite an unrelenting fervor

To smother the smoke and feed the fire

As hungry flames engulf the sky at dawn

Leaving me to stoke til death

The desire to die requires the desire to live

So in promoting altruism by escaping my old self

In that, I’m absconding from this uncontrollable brashness

And finding only nonsensical whimpers in elegant prose

I became capable of using my illustrious imagination

To effloresce the clouds into variegated shapes

As flower pedals damask the sky at dusk

Leaving me to blossom til death

The acceptance to die requires the desire to die

So in struggling to find creative ways to waste time

In that, I’m trying not to develop into an idle void

And finding only remote interest in trivial matters

I shall use my time with jouissance in mind

To truly live and not just blandly breathe

As falling stars plaster the celestial sphere

Leaving me to twinkle til death
