Royal Radiance

 Royal radiance of translucent jade

By studying how to digest and breathe 

Interpreting this insular crusade 

Amidst the feared bowels of the underneath

Royal radiance of sacral onyx

By accessing the blessed through the mundane

Surfing on magma like plate tectonics 

Consecrated and shaped like an otane

Royal radiance of the covenant

Following laws of an out-of-date past

Like an ancient orthodox revenant 

Triumphing slowly with an aura aghast

Grim decadence of stone reverence

A few moments of royal radiance
